Help your students organize their writing!

Each week, I ask students to write in their Journals on a variety of topics. Over the years, I have noticed that when students are writing independently, they often forget to include interesting adjectives, verbs, or even introductions. I thought a visual reminder might be useful in correcting this, so, I created this resource.

The "Writing Organizer" is a writing template that includes visual reminders for students to ensure they have included certain elements in their writing. The reminders are positioned around the perimeter of the page in the location where they would most likely occur in the writing. The result? - Clear and organized writing!
