My whole class was able to participate in this. We did groups of 3. It took them about 30-45 minutes with little to no hints. I loved seeing them work through it.
My students have enjoyed these mysteries, but I was disappointed that most of this specific packet was identical in numbers and clues to the other Place Value Math Mystery by this same seller. I ended up having to tweak numbers and clues because most of the kids would've remembered the info from the other mystery. I like the activity but feel like I bought something that I already own.
We love these mystery packets in our classroom. One learner did notice a lot of the numbers were the same. That was the only issue with the packet. We did the Christmas one during the last week in December so that is why he noticed the similarities.
