Inspire your students to read throughout the school year and hopefully, throughout their lives.

This fantastic resource allows students to keep a record of what books they are reading both at school and at home. Students can use this Reading Log to record when they are reading and the number of pages they read. I give my students 3-4 double sided copies of this resource each September as part of my home reading program. I find it really helps motivate them to read as much as they can.

There is also a column for parent/guardian signatures to keep kids accountable when reading at home. Students are required to explain what they have read to their family member before getting a signature. This is helpful for assessing comprehension and is also great for getting parents more involved in their children's reading. It can spur fantastic conversation between parents and children and hopefully, encourage life-long reading.
