Teach students how to recognize and identify points of view, emotions, and intentions of others!
Understanding and correctly identifying human emotions is vitally important in participating successfully in social situations. For these activities, students are asked to analyze various social situations to determine the points of view, emotions and intentions of the children within them. Students then write within the thought bubbles, explaining what the children are thinking. Finally, students complete the section below each image (for students with written output difficulties, can be done orally), detailing what they think the outcome of each scene will be.
These 14 Social Learning activities can be beneficial for all students, but in particular, are fantastic for teaching students with behavioural challenges and/or students on the Autism spectrum (ASD). I hope these activities will help your students as much as they have helped mine. Again, for students with written output challenges, these activities can be done orally.
Thanks so much,
