It was a fantastic way to engage several of my students who normally don't engage in the classroom, especially for those students who are looking to become tradies at some point, it also lead to some great conversations about how we could use this resource to help teach the older students about area and perimeter and link it to financial maths
Very engaging, students favorite project this past year.
My students loved this so much! Thank you!
My student really got into the creativity side of this project. She didn't even know she was learning area and perimeter in the process!
Used this activity before winter break which was perfect! My students had so fun designing their own dream house.
