My students loved building a city using dice to determine how many windows they needed to add to their building in an array. We used colored dice, pink was for how many in each row and blue was for how many in each column (how many rows). Then we painted them on with using Q-tip dot art. They loved seeing how each other's turned out and how different they each were.

A great resource for students to make array cities! We used these as templates and students traced on colourful paper. They had a blast working on these and kept asking me throughout the day when we were going to continue making array cities.
